Saw Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow Thursday night. It was quite good. It has the feel of the Max Fleischer Superman cartoons from the ’30s. It’s gorgeous. And it’s got Giovanni Ribisi. I really want to see it again. Made a couple of cool finds in the comic book store Wednesday. Complete run of Watchmen and Dark Knight Returns, both first print. Also found Grant Morrison’s Kid Eternity series, Alan Moore’s V For Vendetta, but that’s way too much money… Still, it would be cool. Guess I need to find some new Holy Grails.
